Equestrian Lessons
We teach our students to see horseback riding holistically, understanding that each ride is different and challenging in new ways. We encourage our students to be as well versed on the ground as they are in the saddle - by teaching the process of grooming, handling, blanketing and “catching” the horse.

The Funny Farm and KIKA Flowers have teamed up to create something AMAZING! Amy Green, owner of KIKA Flowers has been collecting bulbs, storing seedlings and taking rose bushes' off neighbors hands to bring them to the spacious flower beds and boxes at the Funny Farm.

We are home to more than 20 animals, including horses, chickens and cats. Our five acre property on Mercer Island, WA is privately owned and female run with a vision to build community and maximize connections to nature. We run a private equestrian lesson program focusing on building fundamentals, learning about caring for the horse, and the English discipline of hunter/jumper riding. Our facilities are a beautiful vignette for film and photography, and a fabulous space for small events and parties. Come explore and find yourself in a beautiful place to disconnect in order to reconnect!
